Oracle Delivery Assurance and programme recovery

Another committee will not put the project back on track.

When reports reassure but deliverables do not arrive, bring the facts back. Redshift helps sponsors and teams connect commitments to evidence, choose a trajectory and follow through on important decisions.

Recognise the gap

An unchanged schedule despite delays, growing scope without decisions, late testing and ownerless dependencies deserve scrutiny. Together, these signals call for more than another reporting template.

Produce a usable diagnosis

Review scope, milestones, deliverables, data, tests and accountability. Access to evidence and stakeholders is part of the mandate. Separate established facts, assumptions and unanswered questions. Slides alone are not evidence.

Offer options, not a verdict

Reduce scope, phase delivery, reinforce the team or change a date. Each option needs costs, constraints and risks. The sponsor decides. We make consequences visible rather than promise everything within the same budget.

Make decisions stick

Useful governance assigns actions, follows dependencies and verifies exit criteria. A PMO should explain the delivery trajectory, not collect minutes. The discipline must remain workable after the engagement.

What remains and where to start

A shared diagnosis, risk and decision registers, reasoned options and a manageable recovery plan. Bring the milestone that concerns you and its supporting evidence. Clarify independence, conflicts of interest, scope and escalation before starting.

Questions we hear.

Is this an audit of our implementation partner?

The scope may include deliverable reviews, but the programme also depends on business decisions, data, interfaces and team availability.

Do you guarantee the planned go-live date?

No. Delivery Assurance makes success conditions and risks explicit. It may recommend changing the date. A different promise would make a better pitch, not a better programme.

Go deeper. Then act.
